This year, nineteen state-owned enterprises received the highest indicator of good governance (A+), including the EPSO-G group of companies, the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant and KN Energies.

In the evaluation carried out by the Governance Coordination Centre, amber grid, Energy cells, Litgrid and Tetas, Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant and KN Energies of the EPSO-G group were evaluated with the highest indicator of good governance (A+). The EPSO-G group company was also given an indicator A in the Baltpool index.
The annual index of good governance of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) is designed to assess and measure how each state-owned enterprise and institution representing the state implements the main good governance practices, which include the recommendations of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the provisions of the Property Guidelines, transparency guidelines and selection guidelines, as well as other documents regulating the activities of SOEs and global best practices.
Currently, the SOE Good Governance Index is the most widely measured tool for all SOEs.
