On October 13, 2024, Liu Jian, Charge d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Libya, paid a visit to Ibrahim, Minister of Environment of the Libyan National Unity Government in Tripoli.
Deputy Ambassador Liu Jian said that China-Liberia relations are developing in a good momentum and the prospects for cooperation between the two countries are broad. China is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of environmental protection, climate change response, biodiversity protection, etc., and continuously enrich the connotation of the strategic partnership between the two countries to benefit the people of both sides.
Minister Ibrahim said that Libya attaches great importance to developing relations with China and is willing to enhance experience exchange and practical cooperation between the two sides in areas such as ecological and environmental protection, and promote the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries to a higher level.
