π Tender Overview
On the territory of the Kharkiv region, we continue to implement a set of humanitarian demining measures aimed at creating conditions for the safe return of residents of de-occupied settlements and the restoration of the economic activity of the agro-industrial complex. Humanitarian demining of more than 14,800 hectares has already been carried out in Kharkiv region, of which 14,000 are agricultural lands, said Oleg Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv OVA.
Almost 100,000 hectares of forest land remain potentially mined in Kharkiv region, of which more than 1,070 hectares have been surveyed and returned to use.
Currently, more than 52,000 potentially contaminated areas have been identified and marked on the territory of the region, of which almost 46,000 hectares are agricultural land.
The village of Grakove of the Prolisnensk hromada of the Chuguyiv district, 90% of whose territory was contaminated with explosives after the occupation, became the first case of cleaning an entire settlement in Ukraine.
In the course of the work, pyrotechnic calculations surveyed more than 50 hectares of the settlement, discovered and neutralized more than 500 explosive objects, making schools, kindergartens, streets, gardens and fields safe.
In addition, during the meeting, the head of the Center for Humanitarian Demining, Volodymyr Bayda, handed the head of the Prolisnensk community, Serhiy Kotenko, a certificate about the complete demining of the territory of the village of Grakove, which is part of the community.
The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration continues to expand cooperation with international partners in order to increase the pace of demining and restore safe life in every community of the region as soon as possible.
