π Tender Overview
9 vehicle checkpoints are being modernized in the country
A full-scale modernization of vehicle checkpoints in Kazakhstan continues. To date, the modernization involves 9 checkpoints on the borders with China, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.
The planned works are expected to increase the throughput capacity to 6 times a day, from an average of 170 to 960 vehicles, as well as reduce the border crossing time to 30 minutes. This year, it is planned to complete the modernization of 9 checkpoints.
In addition, an automated electronic queue system has been introduced at all 10 automobile border posts along the external border of the Eurasian Economic Union. It can be used on the "Qoldau.kz" platform and through the "CargoRuqsat" mobile application.
The introduction of the system made it possible to avoid traffic jams on roads of national importance and ensured transparency in the transportation process.
