π Tender Overview
Within the framework of the Year of Working Professions initiative of the Head of State and in accordance with the plan approved by the Government, the Karaganda region is actively developing working professions. With the opening of new production facilities, more than 17 thousand additional jobs will be created. This information was reported by the akim of the Karaganda region Yermaganbet Bolekpayev at a government meeting. According to him, a reform of training working personnel has begun. Large enterprises of the region have been involved in the work. 52 colleges train personnel in 128 specialties, and since last year, clustering of educational institutions in eight leading areas has been launched. For each, support colleges have been approved, on the basis of which 2 modern centers of competence and 10 workshops will be opened.
An important part of the reform is the introduction of dual training, active cooperation is being carried out with 300 large enterprises, such as Qarmet, Kazakhmys, QazTehna, KamaTyresKZ, Silk Road Electronics. They are directly involved in training the necessary specialists, ensuring maximum employment of graduates. The next direction is the opening of necessary specialties in connection with changes in the labor market in the region. For example, last year, specialties in rubber and tire production were opened at the Saran city college. This fall, students will be admitted to the specialties Polymer Production, Real Estate Management, Gas Supply, Hydrotechnical Construction and Hydrotechnical Reclamation. We expect that there will be a lot of applicants to college in the future.
Therefore, we have increased the number of grants by 20%. Last year, about 8.5 thousand graduates graduated from colleges, and this year we have increased the state order for working specialties by 1.1 thousand places, the regional governor said. It should be noted that people with disabilities in the region will be trained in new professions in special resource training centers based on colleges. Adults who have decided to change their profile for various reasons will be provided with opportunities to get a new profession.
