Italy Saipem Awarded Tender

Saipem has been awarded two EPIC contracts Engineering Procurement Installation Construction assigned by the client Saudi Aramco for a total amount of approximately 13 billion USD as part of the Long Term Agreement for offshore activities in Saudi Arabia renewed in 2015 and in force until 2021.These two contracts refer to respectively the development of offshore fields in Berri and Marjan located in the Arabian Gulf which are among the most important offshore fields in the Region.Saipem activities include the design engineering procurement construction installation and implementation of subsea systems in addition to the laying of pipelines subsea cables and umbilicals platform decks and jackets.Saipem is one of the world leaders in drilling services as well as in the engineering procurement construction and installation of pipelines and complex projects onshore and offshore in the oil gas market. The company has distinctive competences in operations in harsh environments remote areas and deepwater.
