On February 3, 2026, in Dubai, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies of the United Arab Emirates, Director General of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Soltan Ahmed Al Jaber.
During the conversation, the parties noted the constructive nature of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UAE in the gas sector.
The parties reviewed the progress of implementation of current projects, and also discussed potential areas of cooperation in order to further expand the partnership.
At the meeting, an agreement was reached on further development and strengthening of cooperation through regular meetings and consultations between representatives of the two countries to ensure consistent interaction in priority areas.
