A consultation on modernization and reconstruction of 124 railway stations was held under the chairmanship of First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlybek Nalibayev. Regional governors, the leadership of the Ministries of Transport, Industry and Construction and Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC participated in the council. Reports of governors of Atyrau, Aktobe, Mangistau, Abay regions were heard about the progress of modernization and reconstruction of 124 railway stations by the management of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC. Today, 71 railway stations have been commissioned. Works on the remaining objects will continue according to the approved schedules. During the meeting, special attention was paid to meeting the terms of construction and modernization of facilities, quality performance of works, strengthening of coordination between state bodies and contractor institutions.
