The National Data Center, at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, announced the launch of the electronic service for citizens to obtain a non-conviction certificate, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior - Criminal Evidence Directorate, through (your portal for e-government services in the Republic of Iraq).
According to the center, this service is dedicated to issuing a certificate of non-conviction (interior) for use inside the country, whether for employment or resolving unfinished cases before the judiciary, and also includes the issuance of a certificate of non-conviction (external) for Arabs and foreigners who have previously resided in Iraq, through the embassies of the Republic of Iraq in the countries of the world and Iraqis residing abroad, and is used for various purposes such as entry visa for the purpose of treatment, obtaining a study seat, residence or tourism.
He added that this service comes to reduce the burden on citizens, especially those who face challenges such as the similarity of names or the existence of criminal suspicions, as the center provided support in designing and building the electronic service and its integration with the Or portal, and preparing the necessary infrastructure for it, as well as saving and protecting data.
