The National Data Center at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers held a meeting with a delegation from the Ministry of Interior, headed by the Director General of Human Resources at the Ministry, Major General Hussein Sabhan, to discuss converting the services provided to the Ministry's employees to electronic.
During the meeting, they discussed the work of the department and the services it provides to all employees of the Ministry of Interior, which number more than 600,000 employees, and the commitment to implement government decisions on the abolition of paper dealing, and the conversion of all human resources services to electronic.
Major General Sabhan expressed the ministry's desire to convert all transactions of the retirees segment to electronic until they receive the retirement identity, as part of the ministry's interests in this important segment and reduce the burden on it.
For his part, the Director of the Center, Dr. Ammar Mazhar Al-Tamimi, indicated the Center's readiness to provide support and advice to all departments, especially the Ministry of Interior for its great responsibility and the importance of the services it provides.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to study and count the services provided by the Human Resources Department at the Ministry, in preparation for providing a service platform for the Ministry's employees to access their data, obtain their required documents and complete their transactions electronically.
