With the aim of strengthening institutional capacities and promoting a culture of innovation aimed at generating public value, the Geological, Mining and Metallurgical Institute (Ingemmet) developed an awareness talk called Digital Transformation in Public Management, aimed at directors, officials and servants of the institution.
The activity allowed us to reflect on the challenges that public entities face in the process of modernization of the State and the importance of taking advantage of digital technologies to provide more efficient, transparent, secure public services focused on the needs of citizens.
During the day, the following topics were addressed:
Digital transformation as a public policy and strategic axis for the modernization of the State.
Regulatory framework of the Digital Government in Peru and the
Role of leadership and change management in institutional transformation processes.
This initiative is aligned with the implementation of the Roadmap for the Modernization of management at Ingemmet based on the use of technologies such as artificial intelligence, data governance and the integration of digital platforms to optimize its services and institutional processes.
With this type of activities, the entity reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the capabilities of its employees and to the consolidation of modern, innovative public management aimed at generating greater value for citizens and the sustainable development of the country. The training was carried out by the digital transformation expert, Zico Yacila Espinoza.
