In the Grodno region, scholarship holders of the industry trade union of doctors have been identified; this year the number of encouraged students and students of specialized educational institutions has increased from 11 to 13, BELTA correspondent reports. This scholarship is a sign of the attention and gratitude of the trade union to those who, already in their student years, show an example of a responsible attitude towards their future profession, said Vladislav Golyak, chairman of the Grodno regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers. We want to support the guys who are not limited to their studies, but live the life of the team, develop the trade union movement,They are engaged in volunteering and science. It is these kind of caring young people who will come to our healthcare institutions tomorrow, and it is important that they feel: the trade union is next to them from the first steps in medicine. In this half-year, seven students of the Grodno State Medical University, four students of the Grodno State Medical College and two representatives of the Slonim State Medical College became scholarship recipients. Among the awardees is a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Medical and Psychological Science of Grodno State Medical University, Anna Prokopik.Last academic year she was the chairman of the trade union bureau at the faculty. The student is a volunteer and even implements her charity project Steps of Growth together with the Porech State Sanatorium Boarding School of the Grodno District.Anna is a conductor of trade union actions at the faculty, a participant in events at various levels, and this year she became the second vice-miss at the university competition Miss and Mister Students. There is a place in her life for sports. The student is also involved in scientific activities and copes well with her studies: the average score is 9.2.Last year she was awarded a scholarship named after Francis Skaryna. For me, being active is a natural state, shared Anna Prokopik. The medical profession presupposes the ability to hear people, respond to their problems, and social work helps this a lot. When you are visible, people are drawn to you, they trust you - which means you can do more good deeds. Volunteering, trade union work, creativity and sports do not interfere with studies, but on the contrary, they teach you to value time and discipline you. A student also became a scholarship recipient from the industry trade union.Grodno Medical College Anna Rymko, who is a fourth-year student majoring in general medicine. She is diligently mastering her future profession and is active in the trade union organization, and also glorifies her native college at sports competitions at various levels: she became a prize-winner in skiing, volleyball, athletics, basketball, and table tennis. The medical profession is a very responsible one, so I try to study conscientiously, noted Anna Rymko. At the same time, I manage to participate in trade union affairs and defend the honor of the college in sports arenas. Sport gives strength and builds character - this will definitely come in handy in medicine. A student of the Slonim Medical College, Sofia Eremic, was awarded a trade union scholarship. She studies with an average score of 9.4, while she is the commander of the student team named after N. Burdenko, participates in various events and master classes.I come from a large family, and my parents instilled in each of us a simple rule: you need to study diligently and at the same time be active and caring towards people, said Sofia Eremich. I try to follow this both in college and in the student body. The trade union scholarship for me is confirmation that the chosen path is the right one.
