In order to improve the efficiency of energy use in Indonesia the Indonesian Embassy in The Hague the Alumni Association of the Bandung Institute of Technology IA-ITB in the Netherlands and the Energy Academy Indonesia ECADIN collaborated to present the Indonesia-the Netherlands Technology Partnership Forum INTPF. 11092021 An online seminar with the theme Immersion Cooling Technology Towards Greener and More Energy Efficient Data Center succeeded in bringing together key actors from Indonesia and the Netherlands to pioneer technological innovation collaborations.This theme was chosen considering that global data center growth in 2021 has grown by 18.30 compared to last year and is expected to continue to grow to around 21 per year. On the other hand the cooling process in the data center uses electrical energy up to 43 of the total energy for data center operations .This immersion cooling technology is relevant because the more efficient data center cooling technology will reduce the carbon footprint and CO2 emissions. It is hoped that this webinar can stimulate discussion deepen insight and encourage collaboration opportunities in realizing the needs and growth of the data center industry in Indonesia.This activity presented two qualified speakers. Director of Operations from PT DCI Indonesia Marco Cioffi discussed the role and needs of data center and cooling technology in Indonesia while Business Development Manager from Asperitas Maikel Bouricius shared about the latest technology for cooling technology in data centers especially immersion cooling technology and opportunities for implementation in Indonesia. Furthermore the Vice President of South Asia from the Uptime Institute Patrick Chan joined in discussing the opportunities and challenges of implementing cooling technology in Indonesia.
