Quality Research and Development Center and Environmental Laboratory P3KLL KLHK obtained two accreditation certificates for laboratories from the National Accreditation Committee KAN namely the Testing Laboratory and the Calibration Laboratory. The certificate was submitted by the Director of Laboratory Accreditation KAN Fajarina to the Head of P3KLL Herman Hermawan at the P3KLL Customer Gathering event which was held at the P3KLL Office Serpong Wednesday 04242019. This means that by obtaining these two certificates it is ensured that P3KLL laboratory competence in terms of equipment personnel and accommodation conditions and testing methods are accredited and more valid. For testing laboratory accreditation certificates P3KLL has received the 5th accreditation certificate with accredited parameters 341. While the calibration laboratory accreditation certificate is the second certificate where for the first time P3KLL has been obtained in 2014.Secretary of the Research and Development Agency BLI KLHK Silvana Ratina who was present representing the Head of BLI stated that the role of P3KLL is very important because it is a national reference environment laboratory that plays a role in handling environmental pollution and law enforcement cases especially in providing valid and reliable data. P3KLL competency is proven by the accreditation of the P3KLL Testing Laboratory by the National Accreditation Committee KAN according to ISO IEC 17025 since 2002 until now and the Calibration Laboratory since 2015 until now said Silvana.As a National Referral Environment Laboratory KAN highly appreciates the existence of P3KLL laboratories that have been accredited and can provide valid test results. With the accreditation of the Testing Laboratory and the P3KLL Calibration Laboratory it is expected that the management system applied in the laboratory will always be consistent in accordance with ISO 17025 so that the test results are more valid said Fajarina after submitting the certificate.P3KLL which has been established since 1993 has 7 accredited laboratories namely Calibration Laboratory Water and Liquid Waste Laboratory Air Laboratory Solid Land and Waste Laboratory Laboratory Noise and Vibration Toxicology Laboratory and Biology Laboratory. P3KLL services include test sampling services testing of samples of air water and liquid waste soil and solid waste toxicity microbiology noise and vibration and calibration and technical guidance carried out through the PNBP mechanism in accordance with PP No. 44 of 2014.Herman added in the future there will be a revitalization of P3KLL and directed to become a Public Service Agency considering that APBN funds in the future cannot be a mainstay in moving the wheels of the organization and fulfilling adequate chemical needs. We learn from regional labor in Palembang and Bandung that have been oriented to entrepreneurship. To improvise like that we need to get out of our comfort zone and not be disturbed by the establishment Herman concluded. The Customer Gathering event was attended by around 100 participants from Officials within the Ministry of Environment and Forestry Ministry Officers Institutions and P3KLL laboratory partners and customers.
