π Tender Overview
One of the main tasks of the Geological Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources ESDM is not only to mitigate geological disasters but also to carry out mapping through maps of geological disaster-prone areas and systemic and themed maps for the territory of Indonesia. This was revealed by Acting Head of the Geological Agency Muhammad Wafid during the Geological Agency Performance Achievement Conference in Bandung 12.Mapping which is the main activity of the Geological Agency is a systemic and themed map. There are 16 systemic and themed maps and there are 14 maps of geological disaster-prone areas explained Wafid.Wafid said there are several geological maps and then magnetic anomaly maps geophysical maps of heavy force anomalies then seismotectonic maps microzonation maps quaternary geology geomorphology as well as ultrabasic rock distribution maps.A geological map is a map that describes information on the distribution of rock types both laterally and vertically accompanied by their age type of rock and physical and chemical composition. For magnetic anomalous maps are maps that present information about the magnetism of the rocks of an area in the form of contours and or color imagery complemented by symbols and captions explains Wafid.Wafid further explained that a seismotectonic map is a map that depicts the distribution of earthquake sources and their earthquake source zones and their seismicity levels seismicity. For geomorphological maps are maps that describe the shape of the relief of the earths surface accompanied by information about the genesa of its formation and the arrangement of rocks. While the quaternary geological map is a thematic map that specifically makes information on quaternary-aged rocksdeposits approximately 2 million years old quaternary deposits are soft and loose and have not hardened like the rocks contained in the geological map. Information on the distribution of rock quaternary deposits is made in lateral and vertical forms from drilling results accompanied by the environment at the time of its deposition such as swamp deposits coastal deposits flood overflow deposits river embankment deposits explained Wafid. In detail 16 systemic and themed maps are as followsGeological Map of Subah Sheet Central JavaGeological Map of Semarang Sheet Central JavaGeological Map of Pekalongan SheetGeological Map of Demak Sheet of Central JavaSemarang Sheet Magnet Anomaly MapGeophysical Map of Cilacap Sheet Weight Force AnomalySeismotectonic Map of Cilacap SheetCilacap Sheet Microznation MapQuaternary Geological Map of Cilacap SheetGeomorphological Map of Cilacap Sheet.Ultrabasic Rock Distribution Map for Carbon Capture Storage CCS Soroako dsk Area East Luwu District South SulawesiUltrabasic Rock Distribution Map for Carbon Capture Storage CCS Malili Region dsk East Luwu District South SulasewiAnomalous Map of Bouguer East Luwu Region dsk South Sulawesi.Magnetic Anomaly Map of East Luwu Region dsk South SulawesiGeological Map of Surabaya East JavaGeological Map of Sidoardjo Area East JavaThis ultrabasa is for our preparation to support Carbon Capture and Storage CCS as well as Carbon Capture and Utilisation and Storage CCUS which is a reduction in carbon emissions. In addition there are also maps of bourger anomalies maps of magnetic anomalies as well as geological maps of the Surabaya and Sidoarjo areas said Wafid.Wafid further explained that in addition to conducting Systemic and Themed Mapping the Geological Agency also carried out mapping of geological disaster-prone areas consisting of 14 maps of disaster-prone areas. In addition mapping of geological disaster-prone areas is also carried out both volcano mapping volcanic disaster-prone several volcanoes in north Maluku Lampung Central Sulawesi and West Java then areas prone to earthquakes tsunamis and land movements said Wafid.Mapping of Disaster-Prone Areas KRB of volcanoes is a parameter to describe the availability of accurate information in the form of maps related to disaster-prone zones arising from the possibility of volcanic disasters.
