NEWNE NEWSLESS Before March 5 2025 The Green Station Heino was the stage on Wednesday 5 March for a symbolic starting act. Because the work for the second phase of the project improvement measures Zwolle-Enschede has begun. Directors stakeholders and local residents celebrated this memorable fact. Healthy medium -bordered the stations of Heino and Raalte are too small for the growing number of travelers. The diaphragmrons are being replaced by two side perfages with new station furniture. This creates more room for travelers. The areas around the stations also get a metamorphosis. Both stations are given an extension of the P+R site. In addition Raalte station will receive more bicycle parking places a new bus station and an underpass. The underpass connects the two platforms. Moreover it ensures that cyclists and pedestrians can cross the track on their way to Raalte-Noord or Raalte Centrum. In Heino the P+R site moves to the south side of the station. After work there is also room for train -replacement transport. That then no longer leaves the village center. Drie minutes faster for the train traveler the journey from Zwolle to Enschede will soon be three minutes faster. Martijn Dadema deputy mobility of the province of Overijssel is happy with that. This project contributes to the accessibility of Overijssel as a province and of the places along the line. We give a boost to both stations. By improving the environment we not only make it pleasant for the traveler but also for the inhabitants. We not only look at the work for the railway but also take the interests and wishes of others. The new station environments are the calling card that earns both Raalte and Heino. Our residents travel more easily to work or school while visitors travel to our villages more easily. This fits in with the regional function that we have as a municipality and the growth that we are going through. The underpass at Raalte station ensures a good and safe connection with Raalte-Noord. Working together in Raalte are already clearly visible. Contractor Dura Vermeer has set up a work area on the north side of the station. The underpass is also preserved on that area. To create space for the new station environment trees are being felled on the south side.andre van der Vegt regional director Noord-Oost near Dura Vermeer is looking forward to the peak of the work. We are focusing on smooth cooperation to make the train -free period successful. The highlight of the work is from 10 to 23 May 2025. Then we work on the track and the two stations 24 hours a day and buses run instead of trains. Improvement measurement and trajectory that is ready for the future and that will yield three minutes of time between Zwolle and Enschede. That is the goal.
