Oleg Synegubov and Brice Rokfey discussed the security and humanitarian situation in the Kharkiv region, as well as further steps of cooperation.
France is one of the countries that consistently supports Kharkiv Oblast. During the full-scale war, our communities and institutions received medical, energy and communal equipment, equipment for educational and public spaces, means for rehabilitation, building materials and monetary assistance to the affected families. I am grateful to the Government of the French Republic for its significant contribution to the stability of Kharkiv Oblast and readiness for further cooperation, Oleg Synegubov said.
During the past year, the amount of such assistance amounted to at least 56 million hryvnias. This work is currently ongoing. Today, together with international partners, the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration is working on strengthening the regions capacity and preparing for the heating season, the head of the HOVA added.
