To do this, the concessionaire moves the metal structures of the modular bridges to Arequipa, within the framework of the coordination carried out by the MTC. The modular bridges will be 60 meters long, will have a pedestrian walkway and a load capacity of up to 48 tons each. The installation work, which will be carried out by the concessionaire, is expected to be completed within approximately 20 days.
The MTC will continue to lead the coordination with the concessionaire, in order to implement the necessary measures to fully restore vehicular traffic and guarantee the safety of the thousands of users, who daily use this important road in the Arequipa region.
