The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce Industry GCCI met with representatives of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees UNHCR to discuss matters related to refugees asylum seekers and migrant workers. The GCCI was represented by President Mr. Timothy Tucker Junior Vice President Kester Hutson Secretary Ms. Shaleeza Shaw and Executive Director Richard Rambarran.At the meeting a presentation was also made by the UNHCR on a biometric system for registering and monitoring refugees asylum seekers and migrant workers.
