The action supports, on the one hand, the professionalization of waste management in the cities of Greater Conakry and Kindia as well as the development of roads and the management of rainwater in Greater Conakry; and on the other hand, better regional planning through the development and adoption of territorial and urban plans.

The objective of the program is the establishment of a capillary collection service paid for by subscriptions which guarantees the financing of the sector with the recovery of recyclable waste, a healthier urban environment and a reduced hydrogeological risk.
To achieve this objective, the following activities will be carried out:
Construction of Sorting and Transit Zones for all municipalities of Greater Conakry
Construction of waste recovery centers including the composting center
Creation, equipping and strengthening SMEs for the collection, sorting and recovery of waste
Construction and management of the Technical Landfill Center for the non-recoverable fraction
Construction and management of waste transfer centers in Conakry
Development of the National Urban Policy
Development and adoption of the Urban Development Plan for the Conakry-Boffa-Fria development region
Development of certain detailed development plans in the municipalities of Matam and Coléah
Strengthening urban planning and waste management services in municipalities and relevant ministries.
