The governments of Equatorial Guinea and Uganda review the state of their friendship and cooperation relations with special emphasis on the Defense sector. They did so this Thursday May 18 at the audience that the Vice President of the Republic granted to the Ugandan delegation headed by his Defense Minister Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja.Being a courtesy visit during the meeting held at the Peoples Palace in Malabo HE Nguema Obiang Mangue and Vincent Bamulangaki congratulated each other on the results achieved thanks to the excellent diplomatic ties that unite their respective countries . Malabo and Kampala cooperate in areas such as oil and gas agriculture education and the economy among others but in recent years the two governments have focused special attention on the military domain.In this sense the training of human resources provision of services and the acquisition of material stand out. In this context the Equatorial Guinean Defense and Security Officer and the Ugandan Minister of Defense have agreed on the need to continue promoting this bilateral cooperation since they have said it is mutually beneficial.On the other hand the Equatoguinean Vice President conveyed his gratitude to his interlocutor for the warm welcome and hospitality enjoyed by the delegation he led on his official visit to Uganda in March 2022. A stay that allowed the Equatoguinean politician to visit among other tourist places the textile factory.In the same terms the Ugandan Defense Minister has expressed himself who has recognized the good reception that has been given to them on this courtesy visit to Equatoguinean lands.
