The new DYPA Digital Card is available through Gov.gr Wallet from Monday January 9 2023. In this way citizens who are looking for work and are registered in the Digital Register of DYPA formerly OAED have the possibility to store the new digital card on mobile phones tablets and other mobile devices and use it for easy and immediate access to the benefits to which they are entitled.The new DYPA Digital Card marks the abolition of the paper form of the unemployment card. The card is connected to the DYPA Digital Register and is updated daily by it. Clarity is thus ensured as to who is entitled to which benefits in accordance with what Law 49212022 Jobs Again stipulates. In particular by scanning the DYPA Digital Card from the Gov.gr Wallet it will be easy to verify the type of benefits allowances aids or facilities to which the holder will be entitled.The DYPA Digital Card is the fourth document included in the Gov.gr Wallet. It is recalled that from July 2021 the Police Identity Card and Drivers License are available while last November the Digital Disability Card was added. The addition of the Digital Disability Card was carried out with the cooperation of the Ministries of Digital Governance and Labor and Social Affairs. The implementation was carried out by the National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures EDYTE SA - GRNET a supervised body of the Ministry of Digital Governance.Citizens can install the Gov.gr Wallet application via wallet.gov.gr. So far more than 930000 ID cards 760000 driving licenses and 5900 disability cards have been stored in the application.Detailed instructions for the creation and use of the new DYPA Digital Card are attached.
