πŸ“‹ Tender Overview

On July 22, the Gravity-1 Y4 carrier rocket was ignited and lifted off from the sea east of Shanghai, sending the nine satellites it carried into the predetermined orbit. The flight test mission was a complete success.

It is reported that this mission is the first time that the Gravity-1 rocket has carried out a long-sea launch, and it is also the first time that China has carried out a private commercial rocket sea launch mission in the East China Sea of the Yangtze River Delta.

The mobile maritime launch platform is not strictly restricted by fixed sea areas and can flexibly choose launch points, which helps improve launch efficiency and diversify the layout of my countrys space launches. According to the person in charge of rocket model development, the Gravity-1 Y4 launch vehicle was assembled and shipped from the Dongfang Space Port in Haiyang, Shandong Province. This mission further verified the adaptability of the Gravity-1 solid bundled configuration to complex sea conditions and the ability to be on standby for a long time in the complete rocket state.

Gravity-1 is a medium-sized launch vehicle self-developed by Oriental Space (Shandong) Technology Co., Ltd. It has a low-Earth orbit carrying capacity of 6.5 tons and a 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit carrying capacity of 4.2 tons. It can meet the needs of various small satellites for multi-satellite launch missions.

The Dongpo 13, 14, 17 to 20 satellites launched into orbit this time can carry out large-scale earth observations all day and night. Xiguang 201 and Tianyi 49 can provide observation services for users in mining, agriculture and forestry, environmental monitoring, urban planning and other industries. The Lilac-3 satellite carried out technical tests such as an ultra-flat mechanical and thermal integrated platform and new attitude control.
