π Tender Overview
The Sengcheng company has won the public tender for the construction of 18 sections of road in the city of Bata, in a project in which the Government will invest 7 billion Cefa Francs for the interconnection of the neighborhoods of the coastal capital.
In total, seven files presented by different companies were analyzed at the meeting, including Ecocsa, China Road, Tres Montes, Segif and Sengcheng, all with experience in the road infrastructure construction sector.
The evaluation process was developed in three fundamental phases: the technical analysis of the proposals, the verification of the human and material resources available, and the assessment of the guarantees, security and financial solvency of the bidding companies. Likewise, the operational capacity of each firm was examined, including the availability of asphalt processing plants and specialized machinery.
After the comparative analysis of the economic and technical proposals, the report concluded that the Sengcheng company presented the most balanced and viable offer, both in terms of cost and execution capacity. According to the documentation presented, the company has the necessary equipment and the appropriate technical resources to carry out the works within an estimated period of 18 months.
During the meeting, H.E. Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue valued the proposal of the Asian giant company, however underlining the need to negotiate certain aspects of the final price and to demand a bank guarantee that ensures compliance with the agreement with the Government with quality standards.
Finally, Nguema Obiang Mangue instructed the Ministry of Public Works to appoint a supervisory company of recognized technical solvency, in order to guarantee the correct execution and quality of the work.
With this award, the Government reaffirms its commitment to improving the urban road network of Bata, in order to focus on modern infrastructure that contributes to the economic development and well-being of the population.
