📋 Tender Overview

This interactive instrument driven by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory offers the possibility to explore on a map each investment made by areas and municipalities.
The Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory Angel Victor Torres alongside the Minister of Science Innovation and Universities Diana Morant at the presentation of the InfoDANA Recovery Viewer. The Government of Spain has launched the InfoDANA Recovery web viewer a tool that can be used starting today and will allow citizens to know in detail the progress in the reconstruction of the areas affected by the DANA on October 29 2024 and the following days. This interactive transparency instrument promoted by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory and coordinated between the Commissioner for Reconstruction and Repair of the Damage Caused by the DANA and the company Tragsa offers the possibility to explore on the map municipality by municipality the funds from the Government of Spain that have already been transferred to companies self-employed individuals individuals and other public administrations; and the items already executed or in execution managed directly by the Government of Spain for the recovery of the areas affected by the DANA. Currently all the funds listed in the viewer total 6.992 billion euros. Although the total figure if we add the lines of guarantees and other aids that cannot be broken down by municipalities already exceeds 8 billion euros. This tool allows in an easy and intuitive way to see where all those resources have been invested thanks to an interactive map that provides geolocated data and detailed information on state investments. It is a useful transparency tool that had already been presented previously to the mayors of affected municipalities and where starting today all citizens can follow the Governments actions on the ground. The information can be consulted in a general or broken down manner (by municipalities) through a simple menu and the data will be updated periodically with the incorporation of audiovisual material on the projects carried out. Each action is geolocated and contains information about investments in areas such as infrastructure care for affected individuals water cycle support for companies and self-employed individuals or aid to the primary sector. Additionally satellite images before and after the DANA have been added allowing verification of the impact this extreme phenomenon had on the landscape and infrastructure. The viewer will incorporate a third orthophoto when the reconstruction is complete with the aim of reflecting the entire process of change achieved with the reconstruction. The viewer also allows access to actions of a supramunicipal nature such as works on key infrastructures commuter lines or natural environments of special relevance including the AP-7 or the Albufera Natural Park in Valencia. InfoDANA Recovery is available in app and mobile devices and at this link.
