📋 Tender Overview
As part of the urban renewal measure “Ortskern III”, the center in Bissingen an der Teck was renovated and new residential buildings were built. In addition, two listed buildings were realized as large-scale projects that would shape the townscape.
The urban renewal measure “Ortskern III” in Bissingen an der Teck was successfully completed. The Ministry of Regional Development and Housing funded the renovation with around 1.64 million euros.
“Bissingen is an excellent example of how a community and, above all, its citizens benefit from urban development funding. The quality of life in the town center has been significantly improved through the urban renewal,” explained Minister Nicole Razavi on the occasion of the completion of this renovation.
The urban development funding offers are of great importance and have a wide range of positive effects, said the minister: “Urban development funding brings many advantages for urban development: neighborhoods are upgraded, brownfield land is reused and urgently needed living space can be created. In addition, each funding euro triggers up to eight additional euros in follow-up investments. The regional construction industry and trades particularly benefit from this.”
Good infrastructure for livable living
The focus of the renovation in Bissingen an der Teck was to make staying in the town center more attractive for residents. As part of the measure, many new residential buildings were built. Fortunately, existing buildings were often renovated. Among other things, two major projects that shaped the townscape were realized with the two listed buildings “Old Town Hall” and the former “Lamm” restaurant.
Good infrastructure is necessary to ensure that living for families and senior citizens in the town center remains worth living in the long term. A lot has happened here in Bissingen. There is a family doctor's practice with a pharmacy in an ultra-modern, barrier-free new building in the middle of the town. Within walking distance are a bakery with a café, a butcher's shop and the town hall as well as the post office and the two local banks. Everything can also be reached barrier-free using local public transport.
Traffic-calmed streets, the redesign of the square around the former wine press and the upgrading of the deer fountain and the wine press fountain round off the numerous development measures.
