At the Regional Cup Bodensee the MissionBuddies GmbH team made it into the state final of the Start-up BW Elevator Pitch 2023. It convinced with the business idea of a software that enables fire brigades to successfully deploy in civil protection.With the start-up BW Elevator Pitch competition the Ministry of Economic Affairs is looking for the most imaginative business ideas and the best founders in the state for the ninth time. For this purpose preliminary decisions for the state finals take place throughout Baden-Wrttemberg which are organized independently by the partners. The Regional Cup Bodensee took place on May 3rd 2023 as part of the Founders and Young Entrepreneurs Day 2023 at the Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen. The MissionBuddies GmbH team convinced the seven-person jury with its business idea of software that enables fire brigades to carry out successful civil defense operations and entered the state final in 2023.Economics Minister Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut congratulates the freshly chosen state finalist and emphasizes I am pleased that the IHK Bodensee-Oberschwaben is giving founders the opportunity to present themselves and their innovative business ideas with the preliminary decision. With their innovative business ideas founders play a decisive role in shaping the future of our economy. By taking part in the Start-up BW Elevator Pitch they can present their business models to the public at an early stage and thus make valuable contacts for the further development of their companies. At the Regional Cup Bodensee eight teams presented their business ideas to a specialist jury.Startup BW Elevator PitchThe Baden-Wrttemberg Ministry of Economics Labor and Tourism has been running the Start-up BW Elevator Pitch start-up competition since October 2013 as part of the Start-up BW state campaign. In the 20222023 competition round the preliminary decisions will be made by the partners of Start-up BW. They send their state finalists to the state final Start-up BW Elevator Pitch.The founders and start-up teams usually have three minutes to convince the jury and the audience of their business idea. The teams are judged by a qualified jury. At least seven start-ups and founders should pitch in the preliminary round.The following criteria apply to the state finalists in order to qualify for the state finalsThe start-up the founder is at least 18 years old on the day of the competition.At the time of the competition the start-up has not been working on the concrete implementation of the business idea for more than five years is in the project or pre-foundation phase or has already founded.It must be a concrete business idea. Unfortunately fictitious business ideas cannot be considered.The company is based in Baden-Wrttemberg.The business idea was not already presented as part of the Start-up BW Elevator Pitch.
