With the Citizens Income Act the Federal Government is introducing central regulations for the renewal of basic security for jobseekers. Significant improvements in the standard requirements income allowances further training opportunities in the integration process and in the eligibility requirements are the focal points of this major social reform.Everyone can be in need of help whether it is due to illness unemployment or other strokes of fate. With the introduction of citizen income we are sending a strong signal for security and more respect I want people to be able to rely on the state when the going gets tough. That they have the feeling that the welfare state treats them as a partner. We make the welfare state more citizen-friendly and relieve the job centers in the long term. We are increasing the standard rates and improving the income allowances because more work should pay off more. At the same time we are opening up more opportunities for training and further education with the Citizens Income Act. We provide strong financial incentives for completing an apprenticeship opening up new avenues for people to get a job.
