Defense Cyber ??Marvel 2024, the joint cyber training of the Cyber ??Security Bureau of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia and the British Army, has ended.
At the final event, the participants of the course were addressed by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Georgia, David Sujashvili , and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Great Britain to Georgia, Mark Clayton . They emphasized the importance of sharing international experience in cyber security and developing cyber defense capabilities.
The training was focused on the development of cyber defense skills of cyber specialists and the sharing of existing experiences in the field of cyber security. The simulation scenario of the training program envisaged cyber attacks on critical infrastructure and information systems.
Georgian and British cyber specialists took part in the training . The one-week training was held at the Defense Institutional Building School (DIBS). Cyber ??specialists of the Ministry of Defense are participating for the second time in the exercise held within the framework of defense cooperation between Georgia and Great Britain .
The exercise is aimed at developing cyber defense capabilities and establishing a sustainable cyber security system in the field of defense, as well as compatibility with NATO and EU standards.
