Gerald Darmanin Minister of the Interior and Sebastien Lecornu Minister of Overseas Territories are mobilized for the security of Overseas Territories in order to guarantee the protection of citizens against all forms of violence.The integrated security contract between the State and the city of Fort-de-France will be signed on March 16 2022 by the Prefect of Martinique and the mayor of Fort-de-France in the presence of the rector of the Academy of Martinique and of the public prosecutor at the judicial court of Fort-de-France.Lever to strengthen the security continuum in the service of maintaining republican order and peace for all it contributes to the achievement of three objectives Strengthen citizenship and preventionGuarantee the tranquility and safety of everyday life to preserve the living environmentContribute to local justice support and accompany victims.This integrated security contract is built around a diagnosis and shared priorities for security and includes 4 themes Public securityLocal justice and support for victimsCrime prevention and mediationContract governance.These themes are broken down into 50 actions among which the State undertakes to Dismantle deal points during joint operations between the territorial management of the national police and the municipal police and fight more effectively against drug and arms traffickingSubsidize the installation of 35 additional video surveillance cameras to effectively combat any malicious act or to record violationsConsolidate the deployment of the prevention battalion whose mission is to reach out to young people in difficulty and remobilize them to better integrate them into our societyStrengthen the fight against violence against women in particular by setting up a dedicated reception within the police station but also by setting up partnerships to provide shelter for victimsCreate a permanent RAID branch in Martinique at the end of 2022Strengthen the capacity for action of law enforcement units the judicial police and anti-crime brigades 10 staff. The city of Fort-de-France undertakes toStrengthen the resources and support of the municipal policeImplement an action plan to combat noise pollutionStrengthen the means of mediation around schoolsFight against the phenomena of wandering.The integrated security contract will be signed for the period 2022-2027 and evaluated annually within the framework of the CLSPD of Fort-de-France. The implementation and monitoring of actions will be the subject of specific and regular communication to partners and the population.
