Kabul - September 5, 2025, the Afghan capital, Kabul, arrived in the Afghan capital, five planes belonging to the Qatari Emiri Air Force, carrying humanitarian aid provided by the Qatar Development Fund, as part of the air bridge that the State of Qatar is running to contribute to alleviating the suffering of the brotherly Afghan people, as a result of the earthquake that occurred in eastern Afghanistan, to reach the total of nine aircraft. The aid includes fully equipped field hospitals with medical and surgical tools, tents to accommodate affected families, and basic cleaning baskets. The Qatar International Rescue and Rescue Group of the Internal Security Force Lekhwiya participated in this response, by sending teams equipped with its mechanisms and equipment specialized in research, rescue and removal of rubble, along with a field medical team to provide urgent health support. This aid comes within the framework of the continuous state of Qatar alongside the Afghan people, as it reflects its firm commitment to human solidarity and support the affected.
