📋 Tender Overview
We have compiled the changes in the administrative branch of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment at the turn of the year.
Production incentive for the audiovisual sector continued
The production incentive for the audiovisual sector will continue as a support programme for Business Finland in 2024–2026. The production incentive is a payment credit of up to 25 per cent of the costs of production carried out in Finland. The aim of the incentive is to increase international interest in Finland as a production country and to promote the development, growth and internationalisation of Finnish companies. The Government issued a decree on the subject on 21.12.2024 and it will enter into force on 1.1.2024.
The aid scheme has played a key role in the internationalisation of the audiovisual sector and, among other things, it has made it easier for Finnish companies to participate in international co-productions.
Maximum amounts of compensatory fines revised

According to the Collective Agreements Act, the amounts of compensatory fines must be reviewed by decree every three years. The amendment is not related to the legislative projects included in the Government Programme.
The decree is intended to enter into force on 1.1.2024.
