The key achievement is the intensive growth in the use of electric vehicles. During the period of the documents validity, the number of registered electric cars increased by 538 times and reached 46.8 thousand by December 1, 2025. In recent years, the number of electric vehicles has doubled annually. The second important result is the dynamic development of charging infrastructure. The total number of charging stations in Belarus has reached 1,940: this is the largest network of charging stations in the CIS. The third is the development of domestic production. The growth of electric transport has contributed to the creation of new production facilities for charging stations. All manufacturers are investing in their own production and are focused on the continuous growth of demand for charging stations; Belarusian enterprises have established the production of electric transport: OAO MAZ and OAO Belkommunmash - electric buses, OAO Mogilevliftmash - traction electric motors for commercial (including freight) transport. ZAO BELGII is developing a line of new electric vehicles and hybrids, including with the Geely corporation. The fourth is the development of the service sector related to the use of electric vehicles. The network of official dealers in the Republic of Belarus already includes 10 companies. These organizations provide service and maintenance for electric cars, invest in their development within the framework of franchises in regional and district centers, and actively promote electric transport. And the fifth is the growth in electricity consumption. In recent years, the volume of electricity supplied to electric charging stations has increased more than 15 times: from 3.8 million kWh in 2019 to 59.2 million kWh in 2025 (compared to 2024, this is an increase of 2.3 times). This is a significant contribution to the ecological safety of the country and a reduction in dependence on hydrocarbon fuels.
