At the same time, the 2-circuit line section from Nhon Trach 3 power plant to the 220kV Transformer Station (TBA) of Nhon Trach Industrial Park belongs to the 220kV Nhon Trach Industrial Park line project. Nhon Trach 3 - 500kV Long Thanh substation was also successfully energized. The energization of the two projects right on the occasion of National Day September 2 has an important meaning in strengthening power supply capacity and improving the reliability of power system operation in Dong Nai province. This is also a practical project of EVNNPT and SPMB to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026). The two projects are both level I, group B energy projects invested by EVNNPT; SPMB manages and operates the project and Power Transmission Company 4 (PTC4) receives and manages operations. In particular, the 220kV substation project in Nhon Trach Industrial Park and connection is built in Nhon Trach commune, Dong Nai city. The project has a scale of new construction of 220/110/22kV substation with a total capacity of 500MVA, including 2 250MVA transformers. Transformer AT1 was energized on December 28, 2025. Energizing the AT2 transformer this time helps the 220kV Substation of Nhon Trach Industrial Park complete the full capacity scale as designed, meeting the power supply requirements for the area. The 220kV side of the station has a scale of 10 feeders, during this phase, equipment for 7 feeders and backup positions for 3 feeders are installed. The 110kV side has a scale of 15 feeders, installed equipment for 10 feeders and reserved positions for 5 feeders.RELATED NEWSEVNNPT simultaneously deployed 2 projects to increase power transmission capacity in Vinh Long provinceEVNNPT and EVNNPC increased coordination in investment in building power grid projectsEVNNPT energized 2 projects to enhance electricity security for Tay Ninh province and Dong Nai cityControl, protection, measurement systems Measurement, metering, communication and SCADA are equipped in accordance with the regulations of EVN and EVNNPT, complying with current rules and regulations, meeting the requirements for safe and reliable operation. For the connection line, the project builds 2 new double circuit line sections with a total length of about 574 m, connecting the 220kV substation of Nhon Trach Industrial Park with the Nhon Trach 3 - Long Thanh Power Plant line. Project The 220kV line project of Nhon Trach 3 Power Plant - Long Thanh 500kV Substation has a total length of about 26.57 km, passing through communes and wards of Dong Nai city. Of which, the section from Nhon Trach 3 Power Plant to the 220kV Substation of Nhon Trach Industrial Park is about 14 km long. The completion of the 220kV Substation of Nhon Trach Industrial Park and connection, along with the energizing of the 2-circuit line section from Nhon Trach 3 Power Plant to the 220kV Substation of Nhon Trach Industrial Park, is particularly important in releasing the capacity of the Nhon Trach Power Plant cluster. Along with that, the projects contribute to enhancing the capacity to supply electricity to loads in Dong Nai city and surrounding areas, meeting the needs of local socio-economic development. In particular, the The project contributes to ensuring N-1 criteria, improving reliability and safety of power supply and enhancing the ability to operate stably in the regional power system. Completing and putting the two projects into operation on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the National Day continues to affirm the efforts of EVNNPT, SPMB and related units in speeding up construction investment progress, completing key power transmission projects, contributing to ensuring safe and continuous power supply to serve economic development. socio-economic situation of the country.
