Ethiopiakorea Republic Koreas Tender

300 million loan has been provided by the Government of Korea to the Government of Ethiopia to develop science and technology along with the construction of of bus line in Addis Ababa. Signing of the loan agreement was mainly to implement high priority projects to be financed by concessional loans for the years 2019-2020.Signing of the deal was held in Addis Ababa by Admasu Nebebe State Minister of Finance of Ethiopia and Mr. Lim Hoon-min Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Ethiopia. Mainly the money will go towards supporting the establishment of 5 centers of Excellence for Adama Science and Technology University Project. Also its use will be towards Addis Ababa Bus Rapid Transit BRT Line Project and other projects under consultation between the two parties. This deal even aims at strengthening the historical bilateral development cooperation between Ethiopia and Korea.
