The Minister of Entrepreneurship and Information Technology approved the conditions for support for piloting real-time economy solutions which aim to support the introduction of real-time economy solutions and develop developments and prototypes that support the innovation of business processes.According to Minister Kristjan Jrvan the real-time economy is an important and value-creating part of the economy. The development of innovative real-time economy solutions is important in both the private and public sectors in order to reduce empty work and multiple data requests. Good software that meets the needs of the company allows companies to do their work much more efficiently and so they can focus on their main activities i.e. promote the Estonian economy said Jrvan.The support measure for piloting real-time solutions is aimed at supporting private sector companies and has a total volume of 3.5 million euros.The action is intended to support five different activitiesas an innovation development the development of an innovative business software solution that meets the needs of the entrepreneur and related software componentsdeveloping a prototype of data-driven reporting as an experimental developmentexperimental development of a prototype e-receiptexperimental development of a prototype for receiving and processing customer knowledge data exchange service data or other machine-readable datadevelopment of a complete process for a real-time economy solution as an innovation developmentAccording to Sigrid Harjo Member of the Management Board of Enterprise Estonia and KredEx Joint Institution innovation and digitalisation come together in the real-time economy. We support companies that innovate and develop and deploy business software to aggregate data from different sources into continuous measurement monitoring management and quality assurance processes. For example they are developing solutions that have the ability to automatically exchange standardized and machine-readable data different systems of e-invoices digital product passports or data-based reports. They all create the prerequisite for the next step in building our digital economy Harjo said. He added that all companies must undergo pre-consultation and recommended that they also participate in the information day of the respective activities.Each activity is the subject of a separate call for proposals and the selection of the best projects. Calls for proposals are opened at different times. On 14 April the call for applications for the first activity Innovative business software solutions that meet the needs of entrepreneurs will open. In the autumn it is planned to open an application round for the development of prototypes for data-driven reporting.The aim of the call for applications for business software solutions that meet the needs of innovative entrepreneurs is to support the development of an innovative business software solution and related software components that meet the needs of the entrepreneur as an innovation development. Already in April the first trainings will take place for example trainings on e-invoicing and data-driven reporting and data valorisation are taking place.
