In the joyful atmosphere of the opening day of school, when the opening drum sounds from schools in the heart of the city to schools on borders and islands, I cordially send to the teachers, administrators, workers in the Education sector, pupils, students, trainees and parents throughout the country my best congratulations, wishing a successful new school year. School year 2025-2026, the Education sector has made efforts to overcome difficulties, continue to innovate programs, methods and administration, improve the quality of comprehensive education at all levels, promote university autonomy, vocational education, scientific research, digital transformation and artificial intelligence applications. Learning conditions continue to improve, learners and teachers in difficult areas receive more full support. After one year of implementing Resolution 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo, many breakthrough policies on education and training have been institutionalized and gradually come to life. The Law on Teachers and the new policies on tuition fees, textbooks and regimes for teachers demonstrate the deep concern of the Party, State and the whole society for the cause of cultivating people. On behalf of the Party and State leaders, I warmly praise the efforts and results of the entire industry, respectfully thank the generations of teachers, managers, and workers who have devoted themselves to their profession and wholeheartedly for their students; recognizes the spirit of studiousness and striving will of pupils, students, and trainees; Thank you to the parents and people who have always trusted, shared, and accompanied the school. I especially appreciate the teachers who stick to school and class every day in mountainous areas, borders, islands and other areas with many deprivations, overcoming difficulties to keep the fire of knowledge burning, not letting any student lose the right to go to school. In every step of a students growth, there is the enthusiasm of the teacher, in every step of the nations progress, there is the foundation of education. The 2026-2027 school year must create substantive changes in the quality of teaching and learning, equity in access to education, learners abilities and societys trust. Every school needs to be a place where learners are respected, listened to, and encouraged to self-study and practice skills; where talents are discovered and supported and children in difficult circumstances are not left behind. Achievement must be associated with the real progress of each student, honesty in teaching and learning and joy in school. I recommend that the Education sector strongly innovate thinking, management methods, empower with accountability, reduce administrative pressure so that teachers can devote their energies to their expertise and students. Testing and assessment must put the learner at the center, overcoming the problem of achievement, the psychology of chasing scores and heavy examinations. Taking care of education is first of all taking care of the teacher, so that teachers can feel secure in their profession, maintain dignity, and continuously improve their expertise. The teaching profession is honored by the teachers intelligence, understanding, personality, love and example. Words of encouragement at the right time can rekindle confidence; Sincere listening can open up the future for students. In the face of profound changes in science, technology and artificial intelligence, education must proactively expand opportunities to access knowledge and improve the quality of teaching and learning. Technology must serve people and make education better. The more modern technology is applied, the more schools must foster independent thinking, academic integrity, responsibility, civic awareness and human values that no machine can replace. Dear students, the world is changing every day. What has been learned can quickly become old, but the spirit of learning, bravery, creativity, honesty and the will to strive for improvement will always be valuable. I hope the children nurture their dreams, persevere in learning, master technology, know how to get up after failure and use their talents to serve the people and the country. Each teacher, with love for their profession and tolerance, continues to instill in their students a passion for learning, confidence and desire to contribute. Parents and schools nurture their children with love and respect, looking at the process of growing up not only through scores but also in qualities, attitude to life and spirit of learning. Party committees at all levels, the government and the whole society need to continue to make practical investments in education, especially in difficult areas, so that place of birth or family circumstances do not hinder a persons learning path and future. With the nations tradition of studiousness, the dedication of the teaching staff and the aspirations of the young generation, I believe that the 2026-2027 school year will open a new year.New steps forward for the countrys education.
