On September 9, 2026, the Ministry announced a public order for the successive supply of basic foodstuffs, which in 2027 will be intended for people facing material deprivation.The order is published on the Public Procurement Portal and in the TED system.
The deadline for submitting bids is October 12, 2026 by 8 a.m. The estimated value of the order is EUR 4,137,380.05 excluding VAT.
The subject of the order is basic food: flour, egg pasta, rice, milk, oil, canned vegetables (beans and peels), jam, sterilized meat product and polenta. These foods will be provided in 2027 as part of the ESS+ Program for the elimination of material deprivation in Slovenia in the period 2021-2027.
European aid to the most vulnerable is aimed at people facing the highest risk of poverty. Help is provided by distributing food packages and implementing accompanying measures that promote the social inclusion of the most vulnerable people.
