Offer available
Currently, there is an available supply of 11,198 green homes distributed in 136 real estate projects nationwide, which demonstrates the growing interest of the real estate sector in developing initiatives aligned with sustainability and resource efficiency.
Lima and Callao concentrate the largest supply in the country, with 5,973 homes available in 98 real estate projects. They are followed by the departments of Piura (2,140 homes), Lambayeque (1,802 homes), La Libertad (504 homes) and Arequipa (305 homes).
This geographical distribution confirms the decentralization of eco-sustainable housing in Peru, consolidating itself as the preferred residential option for families seeking quality of life, savings and environmental well-being.
Green certification
To receive sustainable certification from the FMV, real estate projects must comply with strict environmental standards that ensure real savings on water and electricity bills. These constructions incorporate low-consumption LED technology, efficient heaters, eco-friendly faucets and independent service meters.
In addition to reducing their monthly fixed costs, buyers of these homes access a direct subsidy: the Sustainable Good Payer Bonus. This state benefit provides financial aid ranging from S/14,100 to S/33,700 to complete the initial payment, depending on the value of the chosen home.
This financial deployment has the key support of international cooperation and banking. Institutions such as the French Development Agency (AFD), the German bank KfW and the European Union have granted credit lines to the FMV for 580 million euros.
Added to this are two operations with JP Morgan (guaranteed by the World Bank) for a total of US$590 million and an issuance of sustainable corporate bonds for US$600 million in international markets.
