On June 5, 2024, Ambassador to Eritrea Li Xiang paid a visit to Eritrean Minister of Transport and Communications Tesfa Selasi.
Ambassador Li said that China and Eritrea are strategic partners, with strong political mutual trust and fruitful cooperation in the fields of transportation and communications. As the new ambassador to Eritrea, he is willing to work with Eritrea to continue to deepen and expand bilateral practical cooperation and push the China-Eritrea strategic partnership to a new level.
Tesfaselassi welcomed Ambassador Li to his new post and said that Ecuador attached great importance to developing relations and bilateral cooperation with China. He personally witnessed the entire process of establishing friendly and cooperative relations between Ecuador's transportation and communications industries and relevant Chinese companies. He looked forward to continuing to strengthen cooperation with China in relevant fields and promoting the smooth implementation of more projects.
