π Tender Overview
The Government has already launched the comprehensive plan for the rehabilitation and modernization of some Djibloho infrastructure, through the Chinese design company ICCC.
The first contact meeting between the Equatoguinean Executive and the experts of the Asian firm took place this Friday, November 14, at the Peoples Palace in Malabo, led by H.E Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue.
During the meeting, which was also attended by the Prime Minister of the Government, as well as senior officials from the Treasury, Public Works, Treasury and Geprojects, the Vice President of the Republic reported that the funds necessary to start the project are already available and that the Government wants an original design.
The plan contemplates the renovation of 7 of the 10 ministries that are planned to be built in the City of La Paz, 500 social housing and 1,200 settlements. The project has two phases: the first is the modernization of facades and the interior distribution of the ministries; and the second is the construction of the three apartments that have not been built until now.
The Government has requested original architectural proposals from ICCC, which reflect a unique and exclusive identity for State buildings, improving key aspects such as ventilation, drainage and access functionality. Innovative materials have also been proposed, such as high-resistance plastic tiles, but without compromising the durability of the works.
For Nguema Obiang Mangue, this initiative is part of the national Horizon 2035 program planned by the Government. The idea is to expand administrative management throughout the country with accompanying construction of development infrastructure.
