π Tender Overview
DSB has been approved and ready with a green bond programme, a so-called Green Bond Framework, which is the final part in the establishment of a financing strategy focusing on green investments.
With the new Green Bond Framework, DSB will be able to finance and refinance projects, such as new train sets and green workshops, that contribute to making DSB more CO2-neutral and part of the solution for the sustainable rail transport of the future.
The program has been developed in accordance with the international standards of the Green Bond Principles of ICMA (International Capital Market Association) and has received a "dark green" rating from S&P Global Ratings. DSB has thus achieved the highest possible rating.
"With the green bond programme, we have a better opportunity to finance our environmentally friendly projects, which benefits not only our customers but society as a whole," says CFO at DSB, Pernille Damm Nielsen and continues:
"We have received the highest possible rating, and it is a pat on the back for our efforts to be far ahead in the work of being part of the green transition in the transport sector," says CFO at DSB, Pernille Damm Nielsen.
Details of the use of the funds from the green bonds will be published annually via a Green Bond Report on www.dsb.dk.
