π Tender Overview
Three weeks after the visit of the Government Prime Minister to this freight area of the former Terminal of the Malabo International Airport where the illegal commercial activity was carried out, with arbitrary constructions without even saving the necessary health and hygiene, all the constructions that are located in the surroundings of this airport zone have been demolished, after beating the deadline given by the Government.
Among the demolished and reduced constructions to debris, were on the list: booths, bars and restaurants for commercial purposes and even there were a kind of bedrooms where their owners were spent speaking, damaging the image around the airport zone.
The Government continues to appeal to the population not to build, or carry out their agricultural activities in unauthorized areas, as is the case of airport lands, in order to comply with international air safety standards.
