The modernization of the first part of the track from Brno to Prerov will start as soon as possible the railway administration has already selected the contractor between Nezamyslice and Kojetin. The construction should start in May it will be completed at the end of 2028. At present an archaeological survey and felling of trees are underway at the site of planned relocations. Project documentation as well as installation of security equipment and GSM-R are co-financed by the European Union from the Tool for Connecting Europe (CEF). The realization of the construction itself is also designed for co -financing from CEF.
