Minister of Transport Martin Kupka together with the director of the Czech Waterways Directorate Lubomir Fojt today presented the news and plans of the Ministry of Transport and its investment organization of the Czech Waterways Directorate for the development of waterway infrastructure in 2025. At the same time work continues to extend the Bata Canal in Moravia and on other additional infrastructure for comfortable use of leisure time on board boats of Czech waterways. In the autumn the conditions for boat service in Prague will raise a new modern service ship which is currently being built in the shipyard in the Netherlands.
This year we have novelties in the form of 3 other public docking grounds for tourists on the Elbe in Central Bohemia which almost complete the network of stops in all larger cities. In Uherske Hradiste which will allow more ships to stop in this beautiful center of Slovacko. The meaningfulness of these investments clearly testifies to the newly built Labska dorso width but most in Podebrady and Litomerice.
Comfortable and safe flooding through the locks help separate parking to wait small vessels when the lock is ready. In recent years it has been completed in Vrane nad Vltavou and Roztoky before the start of the season completed waiting parking in Horin and Dolanky. Mirejovice and this year will be followed by Podbaba and Stechovice says Lubomir Fojtu director of the investor of the Czech Waterways Directorate. In the summer the modernization of the first public downhill will start to start small vessels in Stare Ouholice on the Vltava River. Finally we will start building a new dock for large passenger boats in Stara Boleslav and if the permission procedure is completed.
We pay important attention to the popular Moravian waterway called the Bata Canal where I believe that the first ship floods with a new lock until Hodonin this year. The promise to the next cruise season will not only be further expansion of the public port in Veseli nad Moravou but also a better quality facility on the shore for visitors in the ports of Petrov and Straznice.
