📋 Tender Overview
As part of more intensive communication with the public, Správa železnic launched a geographic information system (GIS) for the section Velká Bíteš – Brno, which clearly shows the expected route of the high-speed line embedded in map data. Visitors to the GIS portal can use a simple system to ask questions or comments directly about the places they are interested in. Subsequent answers will be sent to the portal directly by experts from the Railway Administration.
The GIS portal for the High-speed High-Voltage Phase I section has been available to the public since the beginning of this year. Those interested can find the link on the website of the Railway Administration in the section of the High-speed section Vyso?ina Phase I. The portal offers users the display of various types of base maps – for example, basic, cadastral or noise maps. With this, people will be able to differentiate between elements such as roads, bridges, tunnels, and more. The maps will also show whether the planned route is situated in a notch or on an embankment.
The Railway Administration's website already provides online access to GIS portals for the sections of HSL South Moravia, HSL Moravian Gate I, HSL Moravian Gate II and HSL Elbe. Gradually, they will be created for all planned sections of high-speed lines.
