The Czech government yesterday approved two updates of the Territorial Development Policy of the Czech Republic CR SDP made by the Ministry for Regional Development due to an urgent public interest under the Building Act. This is the Update of the Czech Republic SDP No. 2 taken on the initiative of the Ministry of Transport and Update of the Czech Republic SDP No. 3 taken on the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture. These updates do not contain any major substantive changes to the current Territorial Development Policy. We tried to accommodate especially the South Moravian and Zln regions so that they could continue preparing their development plans. In the first case the traffic situation in the South Moravian Region will be facilitated and the second update will enable the Zln Region which is facing water shortages to prepare the construction of the Vlachovice waterworks. The public and municipalities had the opportunity to submit written comments on the proposals for both updates as part of public comments and during two public hearings in Prague in February and March this year said Minister for Regional Development Klra Dostlov.Mandate for the acquisition of Update 2 of the CR SDP was given to the Ministry for Regional Development by the Government which was assigned the task of the Ministry for Regional Development to make this update by changing the existing designation of development plan R43 . This is a change from the expressway to the capacity road where its parameters and the resulting design category will only be verified and subsequently determined in the framework of the currently updated update of the Principles of Territorial Development of the South Moravian Region.Similarly the mandate for the acquisition of Update No. 3 of the SDP CR was carried out. In this way the Ministry of Regional Development was assigned the task of making this update consisting of the task of land-use planning in the CR SDP the Zln Region to define the area for the Vlachovice waterworks including other necessary areas resources primarily used for the supply of drinking water to the inhabitants of the Zln region.
