Its impressive to be in front of American heroes, and I dont say that lightly, Wilsbach told a room full of deployed Airmen. Thats the way I view it. Youre gritty, courageous warriors fighting for our country. Im so impressed by you, proud of you, and thankful to be on your team. Airmen continue operating under extraordinary demands that have required extensive use of U.S. airpower, including fighters, bombers, tankers, mobility aircraft, intelligence platforms, air defense systems and other capabilities spread across the region. Behind every sortie and system are Airmen generating aircraft, protecting installations, moving cargo, analyzing threats, sustaining communications and solving problems under pressure.
