Eur 300 million has been spent for the temporary allowance for the lowest coefficients from June 2023 to March 2024.
The 5 percent increase in the base in October 2023 was 298 million euros.
17 million euros were spent to increase Christmas bonuses from 232 to 300 euros in December 2023.
For the new right Easter bonus of 100 euros in March 2024, 25 million will be paid.
The average increase in coefficients compared to December 2023 from March 2024 will be 920 million euros, and the increase in salaries in the Croatian Army will be 70 million eurosand euros.
"The total cost of this reform - civil services, public services, the Croatian Army, the secure intelligence system - is 1.63 billion euros more for the salaries of people in the state and public sectors. It is the largest increase in history and the highest quality equalization ever and an incentive for people for their work and effort," plenkovic said.
Although the adoption of coefficients is a unilateral act of the Government, the Prime Minister stressed, she took into account the ideas, corrections and corrections of the unions.
Thanking all members of the Government for the effort they have invested, he stressed that this process was neither simple nor easy, reminding that no other government wanted to do it so far.
If there are errors and illogicalities, he added, it can all be corrected in the future.
"But the government's intention is good. The intention of the Government is to increase the economic standard of employees in state and public services and thus contribute to the dynamics of economic growth in Croatia in general and thus show the direction of the private sector, for which we have made enormous efforts to get through the crisis with as few difficult situations as possible," he concluded.
