Successfully concluded with the partition of representatives of national beneficiary institutions the first stage in our country of the Cooperation Project to combat crime and drug trafficking at the international level ICRME AC1 sponsored by the European Union the Spanish Cooperation Agency and the Central American Integration System SICA.The authorities of the cooperating agencies experts and representatives of the General Secretariat of SICA during the week exchanged and analyzed with officials of different national agencies in an exercise to identify the strengths and needs that challenge the country in the fight against this international scourge. The experts stressed that by the high national standards Costa Rica becomes a regional reference since it has first world technical capabilities in the region.For the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship contributing as a facilitator and coordinator of the project has been an experience of great satisfaction being especially a matter of national interest where the responsibilities and affectations of these crimes transcend borders which require joint work. regional. The participating national institutions were Judiciary Ministry of Public Security Ministry of the Interior Public Ministry Judicial School Legislative Assembly Judiciary and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
